Hello, I'm Dr. Bruna Jebelev.

After nearly two decades practicing Internal Medicine, I saw firsthand how hard it had become for patients to get timely, personal care. Appointments felt rushed, and decisions were too often driven by administrative rules rather than what was best for the patient.

That's why I founded Clear Access MD.

As a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with fellowship training in Nephrology, I built this practice around a simple belief: patients deserve direct access to their doctor, enough time to be heard, and a partner who truly knows them.

In the three years since I moved to Florida, I've cared for hundreds of patients across Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch—from young families to adults managing complex, chronic conditions—helping them get the time and attention real care requires. I'm also proud to care for patients in both English and Spanish.

My work has been published in respected journals, including The American Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.

My goal is simple: to provide the kind of care I'd want for my own family—personal, accessible, and focused on keeping you healthy for the long term.

I already have health insurance. Why would I need a membership too?

Most of our members keep their health insurance. Insurance is important for hospital care, specialist visits, surgeries, and unexpected major medical expenses. Clear Access MD focuses on something different: direct access to your physician, same- or next-day appointments, longer visits, and personalized primary care—with no copays for office visits. It works alongside the coverage you already have.

Does this replace health insurance?

No. Direct Primary Care is not health insurance—it works alongside it. We make primary care simpler, more accessible, and more personal, while your insurance continues to cover hospital care, specialists, and major expenses. Many members pair their membership with a traditional or high-deductible plan, and we encourage everyone to keep some coverage for emergencies.

What if I don't need to see a doctor very often?

The value of membership isn't just the number of visits—it's knowing you have a physician who knows you and is available the moment a question or concern comes up. Many members value having a trusted doctor in place before a small issue becomes an urgent one.

What happens if I need a specialist, MRI, surgery, or hospitalization?

Clear Access MD focuses on comprehensive primary care—not replacing specialist or hospital care. When you need imaging, testing, or a specialist, Dr. Jebelev helps coordinate your referrals and care. Having a physician who already knows your history is especially valuable when navigating more complex situations.

Can I really get same- or next-day appointments?

Yes. Because we keep a smaller patient panel than traditional practices, we can usually offer same- or next-day appointments, plus direct communication by phone, text, and email. Once you're established, many concerns can even be handled by phone—including while you're traveling anywhere in the country.

Is my doctor available 24/7?

Calls, texts, and emails are answered as quickly as possible, though late-night messages may not receive an immediate response. Same- or next-day appointments are available, and if your physician is away, another provider will cover urgent in-office needs.

Does physician-led care matter?

It does. Physician-led care means your care is directed by a medical doctor with full medical school and residency training in Internal Medicine. At Clear Access MD, you work directly with your physician—without rushed visits, fragmented handoffs, or insurance-driven limitations—ensuring continuity, accountability, and decisions guided solely by what's best for you.

May I pay for my membership with a health savings account (HSA)?

In many cases, yes. New federal legislation allows people with a Health Savings Account (HSA) to use those funds tax-free toward certain Direct Primary Care membership fees starting January 1, 2026. We recommend confirming specifics with your HSA/FSA provider.

I have Medicare, can I still join Clear Access MD?

Yes. Dr. Jebelev does not bill Medicare, but we can still order laboratory tests and imaging, and provide referrals to specialists. Note that some Medicare Advantage plans require your primary care provider to be in-network, so we recommend confirming with your plan.

How do I cancel my membership?

A written notice of termination is required at least 30 days in advance, as outlined in the patient agreement.
