About Us

Clear Access MD is a physician-led primary care practice serving Lakewood Ranch and the greater Sarasota–Bradenton area.

We believe healthcare works best when patients have time, access, and a direct relationship with their physician.

Our practice focuses on personalized, unhurried primary care with longer visits, same-day or next-day availability, and direct physician access. Led by a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, Clear Access MD is built around prevention, long-term relationships, and thoughtful medical care tailored to each patient.

What is DPC?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based approach to healthcare that removes the insurance middle layer from routine primary care.

  • Monthly membership pricing
  • Longer visits
  • Same/next-day availability
  • Direct physician communication
  • No copays for included care

DPC is not health insurance, but many patients use it alongside insurance plans or health sharing options.

Questions are welcome if you are new to this model.

About Dr. Jebelev

Bruna Jebelev, MD

Dr. Bruna Jebelev is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with 18+ years of experience, a Nephrology fellowship, and a bilingual practice rooted in listening. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she brings both clinical depth and cultural warmth to every visit. Over the past two years, she has worked exclusively with adults age 65+, caring for patients with complex medical needs, chronic conditions, and multiple medications.

After training and practicing in New York and Florida, she kept running into the same problem: rushed appointments, insurance-driven decisions, and patients leaving without real answers. The traditional system left little room for listening — and even less for thoughtful medical care.

She opened Clear Access MD to practice medicine differently: with more time, fewer barriers, and a doctor who actually knows you.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and spending time with her husband and son. That perspective outside medicine is part of what shapes her approach to care — patients are people first.

FAQ
Do I need insurance to join Clear Access MD?
No. Our memberships are direct and affordable, so you don't need traditional insurance. You pay a flat monthly fee that covers unlimited visits, urgent care, telehealth, and more. Patients are encouraged to carry some form of insurance in the case of emergency/catastrophic injury or illness.
Does DPC replace my health insurance?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is not a substitute for health insurance, but rather works alongside it. Patients are encouraged to maintain some form of insurance coverage to protect against emergencies or catastrophic illness or injury.
Does my membership qualify as health insurance?
No. All of your primary care services are a direct contract similar to a cellphone or gym contract.
May I use my insurance to pay for my membership?
Insurance does not typically cover Direct Primary Care (DPC) services, including membership fees. However, it may cover certain imaging studies or laboratory tests ordered by your DPC provider, depending on your specific plan. We encourage each member to check directly with their insurer.
How soon can I see the doctor?
We can accommodate same-day or next-day appointments. Once established, many medical concerns can also be addressed by phone when preferred or when an in-office visit isn't possible — even while you're traveling anywhere in the country.
Is my doctor available 24/7?
Calls, texts, and emails are answered as quickly as possible, though late-night messages may not receive immediate responses. Same-day or next-day appointments are available. If your physician is away, another provider will cover urgent in-office needs.
Will my doctor come to my house?
House calls are not a routine service but may be offered in special circumstances and may involve an additional fee.
Does physician-led care matter?
Physician-led care means your care is directed by a medical doctor with full medical school and residency training in Internal Medicine. At Clear Access MD, patients work directly with their physician—without rushed visits, fragmented handoffs, or insurance-driven limitations—ensuring continuity, accountability, and care decisions guided solely by what's best for the patient.
How do I pay?
Membership fees, along with the costs of certain procedures and supplies, may be automatically billed to a credit card or checking account. For patients without insurance or who are self-paying, laboratory tests are available at discounted rates through our lab partners.
How do I cancel my membership?
A written notice of termination is required at least 30 days in advance, as outlined in the patient agreement.
May I pay for my membership with a health savings account (HSA)?
In many cases, yes! A recent executive order allows Direct Primary Care (DPC) memberships to qualify as an eligible HSA/FSA expense. New federal legislation (as part of the "One Big Beautiful Bill" tax changes) allows people with a Health Savings Account (HSA) to use HSA funds tax-free to pay for certain DPC membership fees starting January 1, 2026. We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider for specific details and confirmation.
I have Medicare, can I still join Clear Access MD?
Yes. Dr. Jebelev does not bill Medicare; however, we are still able to order laboratory tests, imaging studies, and provide referrals to specialists. Please note that some Medicare Advantage plans require your primary care provider to be in-network. We recommend contacting your Medicare insurance provider to confirm.
How does Clear Access MD save me money?
By removing insurance middlemen, we do away with co-pays, deductibles, and unexpected bills. Many families save thousands each year while avoiding costly emergency room visits and high out-of-pocket expenses.
I own a business. Can I provide my employees with a membership?
Yes! Direct Primary Care can help small businesses cut healthcare costs by up to 50% while providing better access to care. It improves employee retention, reduces sick days, and creates a healthier, more supported workplace.
Do my employees need to pay anything out of pocket?
No. If you cover their membership, they won't pay anything for office visits or telehealth.
